KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: The head of the Spring Camps Committee in the Kuwait Municipality, Faisal Al-Otaibi, has given 24 hours for the owners of illegal camps pitched in open areas in Al-Subbiya, Kabad, and Arhiyah, to remove their camps immediately.
Al-Otaibi told Al-Rai daily the committee will meet next week to put in place a strict mechanism to punish violators who pitch illegal camps and those who do not adhere to the applicable law and regulations.
The expatriates in this case will be fined as per the laws of the Kuwait Municipality, the Environmental Police, and the Environment Public Authority and may even be deported from the country.
