Over 500 safety offenses uncovered in Kuwait’s latest industrial inspections
PAM inspectors intensify field visits to industrial sites, uncovering widespread safety violations across Kuwait.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: Kuwait’s Public Authority of Manpower (PAM) has intensified its inspection campaigns across industrial facilities to enforce compliance with occupational health and safety requirements, uncovering hundreds of violations as part of its ongoing oversight efforts.

PAM stated that its inspection teams conducted over 1,000 visits to industrial establishments across various governorates to verify adherence to approved occupational health and safety standards. Legal measures were taken against parties violating applicable procedures, the Authority noted.

The Authority added that the campaigns are being carried out under a periodic work plan aimed at raising compliance levels within industrial facilities. Inspectors detected more than 500 safety-related violations, including the lack of personal protective equipment, deficiencies in emergency and evacuation systems, and the absence of required preventive safeguards for machines and equipment.

PAM urged business owners to fully comply with occupational health and safety regulations and cooperate with inspection teams to protect workers and ensure uninterrupted operations across industrial workplaces.

The campaign also revealed cases of workers operating at locations other than those registered with the Authority—an infraction that violates Kuwait’s labor laws and related regulations.
