KUWAIT CITY, April 29: Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality announced that the Department of Public Hygiene and Road Works in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality carried out a raid on hawkers in various areas within the governorate during which 50 kgs of watermelons and 12 kgs of muskmelon were destroyed, two neglected vehicles were lifted and 15 garbage bins were changed, reports Al- Seyassah daily.

Head of the Department of Public Hygiene and Road Works in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality MulfiAl-Hawaali affirmed that the raids conducted by inspectors of the department are aimed at taking appropriate actions against violators of the municipality laws.

In addition, the Public Relations Department declared that municipality’s inspectors in Ahmadi Governorate also carried out inspection campaigns in various parts of the governorate targeting shops, during which 11 warnings against unlicensed advertisements were issued. Also, about 35 shops were inspected, five warnings were issued against houses which have been built in violation of the construction laws and warning stickers were placed on a number of buildings in Sabahiya area where bachelors are staying.
