KUWAIT CITY, June 22: Inspection teams have raided a warehouse belonging to a food retailer accused of altering the country of origin labels on various products, including dried shrimp, nuts, spices, and legumes, totaling over 23 tons. The company was also found to have tampered with expiration dates, and large quantities of expired goods were confiscated. The operation was conducted by a joint team from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition. Legal action is currently being taken against the company.
