KUWAIT CITY, July 21, (KUNA): Ali Al-Marri, Director of Kuwait's delegation to the 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024, expressed strong confidence in the capabilities of Kuwaiti athletes to achieve high levels of success.
In a press statement, Al-Marri emphasized that the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee has diligently provided all necessary technical and physical support to ensure the athletes' success, including both internal and external training camps. The Kuwaiti delegation for the 2024 Paris Olympics includes nine athletes competing in six sports: archery, fencing, swimming, athletics, rowing, and sailing.
Representing Kuwait in the shooting are Khaled Al-Mudhaf and Mohammed Al-Daihani; in fencing, Yousef Al-Shamlan; in athletics, Yaqoub Al-Youha and Amal Al-Roumi; in swimming, Mohammed Al-Zubaid and Lara Dashti; and in rowing, Souad Al-Faqaan and Amina Shah Al-Sharaa. The 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris will begin on July 26th and continue until August 11th.
