KUWAIT CITY, Dec 22: The Ministry of Interior has announced a temporary suspension of all electronic residency services as part of scheduled technical upgrades aimed at enhancing system performance and reliability.

In a statement, the Ministry said that all online residency services will be unavailable for a period of four hours, starting from 10:00 pm on Monday, December 22, 2025, until 2:00 am on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The suspension is necessary to carry out technical development and maintenance work on the Ministry’s electronic systems.

The Ministry explained that this step comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to modernize and develop its digital infrastructure. The upgrades are intended to improve operational efficiency, enhance system stability, and ensure the continued delivery of electronic services in line with the highest technical standards.

The Ministry of Interior advised users to complete any urgent electronic residency transactions before the suspension period and expressed appreciation for the public’s cooperation and understanding during the scheduled maintenance.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to advancing digital transformation and providing secure, efficient, and reliable electronic services to citizens and residents across the country.
