One More Tanker struck by Drone while transiting Strait of Hormuz

LONDON, Aug 14: A tanker was struck by an uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, according to a UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) warning issued Friday.

The incident was reported by military authorities at 1552 UTC. The vessel sustained minor damage, while all crew members were reported safe and accounted for. No environmental impact was reported.

UKMTO advised vessels operating in the Strait of Hormuz to exercise caution and report any suspicious activity as authorities monitor the situation.
