KUWAIT CITY, Jun 10: Firefighting teams responded on Wednesday to a serious traffic accident involving a collision between two vehicles, a rollover, and a fuel tanker fire on the Fahaheel Expressway in Kuwait.
According to the Kuwait Fire Force, teams from the Al-Mangaf Fire Station were dispatched immediately to the scene after receiving reports of the incident on the busy highway.
The accident led to a fuel tanker catching fire following the crash, prompting emergency crews to carry out rapid containment and firefighting operations to control the blaze and secure the area.
Authorities confirmed that the incident resulted in one fatality. The site was later handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation and legal procedures.
Traffic movement on the Fahaheel Expressway was affected during the emergency response before being gradually restored.
