KUWAIT CITY, Jul 6: One person was killed and another seriously injured in a traffic collision on the Al-Abdali Road leading to the border crossing on Monday morning, authorities said.
According to a security source, the crash claimed one life at the scene, while the second victim suffered a head injury and multiple fractures. The injured person was provided with emergency assistance and taken for medical treatment.
Police from the Al-Qash'aniyah station quickly responded to the accident, securing the area to facilitate rescue and investigative operations. Forensic experts later arrived at the scene to examine the crash site and complete the necessary legal procedures.
Authorities also issued an order to remove the victim's body after the forensic examination.
Investigators have launched an inquiry to determine the circumstances and cause of the fatal collision.
