One injured as firefighters contain apartment fire in Farwaniya

Firefighting teams work to contain a fire at an apartment building in the Farwaniya area on Friday evening.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 17: Firefighting teams from the Farwaniya and Subhan fire centers brought under control a fire that broke out in an apartment building in the Farwaniya area on Friday evening.

Firefighters responded promptly to the incident and succeeded in containing and extinguishing the blaze. One person was injured in the fire, according to authorities.

After the situation was brought under control, the site was handed over to the competent authorities for further procedures and follow-up.
