One Glance Was Enough: 4 Kuwaiti Youths End Up in a Brawl

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 3: A seemingly harmless glance reportedly turned into a heated confrontation and then a full-blown four-way fight in Sulaibikhat, after four Kuwaiti youths clashed following an encounter outside a sports club.

According to a security source, the Ministry of Interior’s operations room received a report about a youth brawl in the area, prompting a security patrol to rush to the scene. Officers found four youths involved in the fight, with two suffering bruises and abrasions to their faces and chests.

During the initial questioning, the youths said the trouble began after they left a sports club and noticed another person staring at them. When they confronted him and asked why he was looking at them, he allegedly ignored them. The exchange quickly turned into a verbal confrontation before punches were thrown and the dispute erupted into a fight.

Two of those involved requested medical examinations and were allowed to leave after their details were recorded and medical reports documenting their injuries were submitted. The remaining two were taken to the police station.

The four youths reportedly gave conflicting accounts and exchanged accusations over what triggered the confrontation. Investigators are expected to re-question those involved to establish exactly how the incident unfolded and determine responsibility
