Oman shuts businesses at night

MUSCAT, March 1 (KUNA) — All businesses will be shut down from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. as of Thursday until the 20th of this month, the official Oman News Agency reported on Monday.


ONA, citing the supreme coronavirus response committee, said the new restriction would be imposed due to sharp hike of infections with the virus locally and globally.


The closure decision covers eateries at tourist sites and food delivery with exemption of fuel stations, health institutions and pharmacies.
Students will continue studies online, pending further re-examination soon
