Oman Customs Seizes 50 Narcotic-Infused Sheets Hidden in Postal Parcel From Europe

MUSCAT, Jun 25: Oman Customs authorities have intercepted an attempted drug smuggling operation after discovering 50 paper sheets containing narcotic substances concealed inside a postal parcel arriving from a European country.

The shipment was detected during a routine customs inspection, when officers found the sheets had been deliberately saturated with prohibited substances and carefully hidden within the package.

Authorities said the seizure was made as part of ongoing efforts to prevent the trafficking of illegal narcotics through postal and cargo channels.

Investigations are currently underway to identify those involved in the smuggling attempt and take necessary legal action.
