Oman condemns storming of Bahraini embassy in Baghdad

MUSCAT: Oman strongly condemned the recent storming of Bahraini embassy in Baghdad by a number of protesters, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Sunday. The Ministry said in a statement that breaking into the embassy’s building is illegal and a breach of international diplomatic mission protection rules. Iraqi protesters on Thursday stormed the Bahraini embassy in Baghdad and removed the Bahraini flag from above the building before police came in and arrested 51 protesters. (KUNA)
