KUWAIT CITY, May 27: The General Administration of Customs has carried out an inspection tour at Passenger Terminal T4 at Kuwait International Airport to assess operational readiness and ensure smooth procedures for pilgrims during the Hajj season.
The tour was led by Yousef Khaled Al-Nuwaif, accompanied by Saleh Mohammed Al-Omar, alongside senior officials overseeing customs operations at the airport.
Officials reviewed passenger processing mechanisms, inspection procedures, and coordination between agencies working at the terminal. The inspection focused on ensuring efficiency in handling pilgrim travel procedures and reducing processing time while maintaining security standards.
During the visit, Al-Nuwaif emphasized the importance of inter-agency coordination at the airport, stressing that streamlined operations reflect Kuwait’s commitment to providing high-quality services to pilgrims and travelers.
He also commended customs personnel stationed at T4 for their efforts in facilitating passenger movement while maintaining border security. Al-Omar echoed the remarks, highlighting the importance of operational readiness and teamwork across all departments.
The Customs Administration said it continues to monitor all ports of entry during the Hajj season, mobilizing human and technical resources to ensure efficient services and uninterrupted travel procedures.
