Officials discuss 'Expat bachelors' housing and security issues in Farwaniya

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: His Excellency the Governor of Al-Farwaniya, Sheikh Athbi Al-Nasser, held talks with Rabab Abdullah Mazid Al-Osaimi, Director General of the Public Authority for Manpower and other officials from the PAM on key labor and housing challenges in the governorate, focusing on the accommodation of single men (bachelors) and undocumented workers, while commending the ministry’s role in combating human trafficking.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed several issues of mutual concern, foremost among them the housing problem for 'bachelors' and illegal workers in Al-Farwaniyah Governorate. They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation and joint coordination to address these issues in a manner that contributes to safeguarding community security and achieving the public interest.

The discussions further covered efforts to combat human trafficking, with emphasis placed on the importance of sustaining these measures in line with internationally approved standards.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Osaimi thanked Sheikh Athbi Al-Nasser for the warm reception and close follow-up. At the same time, the governor praised the Public Authority of Manpower’s active role and institutional efforts in strengthening cooperation to serve the public interest and maintain security and stability in Al-Farwaniyah Governorate.
