Official who slapped guard faces lawsuit

KUWAIT CITY, March 27: The Public Prosecution received the report about an official at Kuwaiti Ports Authority (KPA) shown in a video clip slapping a security guard and grabbing the latter’s telephone, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting a reliable source.

Meanwhile, Attorney Ali Al-Dahi – lawyer of the victim – confirmed to the daily that the report has been submitted to the prosecution. “We demanded for the necessary measures, including investigation into the incident and referral of the accused to the concerned court for trial,” he revealed.
