KUWAIT CITY, June 30: A passport employee at the Salmi border post has been referred to the concerned authorities for interrogation for allegedly manipulating the entry date of a Kuwaiti woman although she was outside the country for about three years, reports Al-Rai daily.

When the woman decided to return to renew her passport, without her knowledge three days earlier to her arrival, the employee – perhaps to do favor to a person he knows – documented the entry of the woman which surprised the immigration officers when she arrived at the port which showed the woman is already in the country. During interrogation the woman denied any knowledge about the issue.
