OCA president meets Kuwait sports minister in Doha ahead of Gulf Games

DOHA, May 11 (KUNA): President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani received Kuwait’s Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Tareq Al-Jalahma in Doha on Monday.

In a statement, the Qatar Olympic Committee said the meeting comes as part of efforts to strengthen sports cooperation and enhance ties between the two countries.

The 4th Gulf Games are set to officially open on Wednesday in Doha and will run until May 22, with Kuwait taking part in the event.
