KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: Police have taken into custody three people – an Indian nurse and two Bangladeshi brothers – for aborting fetuses inside an apartment in Hawally, reports Al- Shahed daily. According to security sources, the suspects had turned the apartment into a clinic to carry out their illegal activity. The daily added, the arrests were made after police were tipped off about the illegal activity. According to sources each abortion cost KD 500.

Fake cops rob two: Police are looking for four unidentified persons for impersonating police and robbing two people — an Indian and a Malagasy, reports Al-Anba daily. According to the complaint filed by the two men the suspect robbed from them 7 mobile phones and KD 600.

Fake detergents seized: Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that its officials who were working on the evening shift at Jabriya Inspection Center raided a place where adulterated cleaning materials were manufactured. The raid was carried out based on directives from the Director of Inspection Oudh Al-Khayat and head of the department Nasser Abdul-Kareem. According to a press release, the plant was placing fake stickers of international brands on the materials, and a large number of consumers have been buying the imitation products due to the popularity of the brand. The ministry had been carrying out investigations against suspects and will continue searching for other places with similar activities.
