LOS ANGELES, Sept 25, (Agencies): Reuniting at the 2023 MTV VMAs was an awe-inspiring experience for Lance Bass, who was immersed in the enchantment of performing once again with his NSYNC bandmates. The resounding cheers of the crowd provided a magical backdrop to their reunion.

During the opening night of this year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival, Bass graced the red carpet and shared his reflections with Cassie DiLaura from ET about the enduring impact of their VMA reunion.

“It’s genuinely beautiful, you know? At our stage in life, witnessing such unbridled enthusiasm from our fans is nothing short of a dream realized,” Bass expressed with an infectious smile, radiating pure joy. “I never could have anticipated this level of fan fervor.”

With a light-hearted chuckle, Bass playfully attributed their resurgence to Taylor Swift, hinting at how the group’s reunion reached a climax when they presented the Best Pop Video award to the star-struck Swift. “I’m quite convinced Taylor Swift unleashed the Swifties upon us,” he quipped. “The Swifties and NSYNCers combined to create a tidal wave of excitement. It’s been an absolute blast!”

Sharing the stage with his fellow bandmates JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Justin Timberlake, and Chris Kirkpatrick to honor Swift with her award was a surreal moment for the celebrated songstress. She effused, “I’m finding it challenging to process this transition,” she admitted while clutching her award. “I have your dolls! You guys embody pop music, so receiving this from your iconic pop hands is genuinely overwhelming.”

However, despite the clamor from the public, Bass made it clear that there are currently no firm plans for a reunion tour or special project. “I’ve been conveying to our fans that we don’t have any concrete plans at the moment,” he clarified. “We’re awaiting the alignment of certain circumstances, and we have other commitments to fulfill. But rest assured, our fans are instrumental in shaping our future.”

Earlier this month, Justin Timberlake provided a behind-the-scenes glimpse on Instagram of their studio session for their upcoming track.

“It was quite an emotional experience the first time we all gathered in the studio,” Bass reminisced about the recording session. “Back in March, we decided to reunite and have some fun, and it felt as though no time had passed.”

“However, there was a lot of emotion. Tears of joy flowed freely, creating a profoundly beautiful moment,” he continued. “Time has a way of healing, and for us to finally reunite feels incredibly right.”

Fans eagerly anticipate the release of the group’s new song, scheduled for September 29th, well in advance of the premiere of “Trolls Band Together” on November 17th. It’s a momentous occasion that promises to delight long-time fans of the group.
