KUWAIT CITY, Aug 16: Kuwait’s Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) is advising Kuwaiti citizens and expats to use its “My Numbers” service to check all telephone lines and telecommunications services registered under their names.

The service, available through the Sahel application, allows users to access a unified record of communication services registered with telecommunications companies. Users can access CITRA services in the Sahel app and select “My Numbers” to view the lines and services linked to their personal details.

CITRA said the service is designed to provide users with a clear, up-to-date overview of telecommunications services registered in their names, while making it easier to verify the accuracy of their registered information.

The authority is encouraging users to regularly check the information associated with their accounts as part of efforts to strengthen personal data protection and improve transparency.

Through the “My Numbers” service, users can identify all registered phone lines and other telecommunications services, verify that the information is accurate and ensure that services they do not recognize are brought to their attention.

CITRA said the service provides convenient access to this information through a single platform, allowing users to review their registered telecommunications services without having to check separately with individual service providers.

How to access the service:

  • Open the Sahel application.
  • Select CITRA services.
  • Choose the “My Numbers” service.
  • Review the telephone lines and telecommunications services registered under your name.

The authority is urging users to make use of the service as a simple way to monitor the telecommunications accounts associated with their personal information and enhance control over their registered services.
