KUWAIT CITY, Feb 23: The Ministry of Interior announced the launch of a new electronic service allowing vehicle owners to issue driving authorizations online through the unified government services application “Sahel.”
The service, introduced by the General Directorate of Information Systems in cooperation with the General Traffic Department, enables users to authorize others to drive their vehicles electronically, specify the validity period of the authorization, and inquire about or cancel it at any time via the application.
The Ministry stated that the launch of the new feature aims to streamline procedures, save time and effort, and enhance the quality of services provided to the public, in line with Kuwait’s vision of advancing toward a fully integrated digital government.
