KUWAIT CITY, Mar 25: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation, State of Kuwait, has reminded travelers and passengers that all complaints related to airlines and travel or tourism offices should be submitted electronically through the Sahel app.
The authority emphasized that complaints must include all required documents and follow the Sahel app’s procedures to ensure proper review by the specialized team.
For submitting development proposals in civil aviation, reporting delays in responses to complaints on Sahel, or other feedback, the public is advised to use the Tawasul platform, where all submissions are considered seriously and impartially.
Earlier, DGCA issued a statement directing airlines and travel agencies to refund the full value of tickets and reservations canceled due to current exceptional circumstances within 15 working days.
The authority clarified that passengers are entitled to a full refund if the ticket has not been used, and for partially used tickets, the unused portion must be fully refunded.
Officials emphasized that these measures aim to protect travelers’ rights and ensure timely delivery of refunds during the ongoing disruptions.
