KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: AlJazeera Airways has announced the launch of a new connection flight between Milan Bergamo Airport and Kuwait City, further strengthening air connectivity between Italy and Kuwait. The new route is expected to boost travel and trade opportunities, offering passengers greater convenience and expanded access between the two destinations.
Italian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Ambassador Lorenzo Morini stated in his speech,
"Today, we are here to celebrate a new exciting chapter in the relationship between Kuwait and Italy, the launch of a new connection flight between Milan Bergamo and Kuwait city.
This new flight service represents more than just a means of transportation. It is a new bridge between Kuwait and Italy that will help paving the way for more opportunities to unite our people, to create and support businesses and to increment tourism and cultural exchange, especially among young generations. In my role of Ambassador of Italy to Kuwait, I am therefore delighted to have a new, powerful tool to support my daily endeavor in strengthening the relations between our countries and our people.
The cities of Milan and Bergamo and all Lombardy region are well known for their dynamic economies and vibrant cultural communities, as well as for their rich history, exquisite art, culinary delights and amazing landscape. In addition to that, Milan Bergamo airport is located in a strategic position, allowing Kuwaiti travelers to easily reach the eastern and central part of Italy and to visit places like Venezia, Bologna and the Como area. Moreover, the new connection flight will help travelers to reach our neighboring countries in Europe, such as Austraced Switzerland and I am very glad to have among us today my friend the Swiss Ambassador.
At the same time, this connection flight will allow more travelers from Italy to discover the beauty of Kuwait, to experience the hospitality and warmth of the Kuwaiti people, as well as its burgeoning economy, its striking landscape, its cultural and archeological richness and its vibrant lifestyle. For business professionals seeking new opportunities, this flight will provide a crucial link to one of the more interesting markets in the region, for all other travelers, tourist, artists and students, it will it will give a gateway to a unique cultural experience, opening the door to new bonds between our people and our countries.
In conclusion, I look forward to being among the first travelers aboard the new connection flight between Kuwait city and Milan Bergamo and to embarking on this exciting journey. I am extremely proud to be part of this historic moment and I am grateful to Jazeera Airways, to its CEO, Barathan Pasupathi, and to his team for the efforts and the enthusiasm that made this day possible.
