Now, Fly with Kuwait Airways to Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Kochi via Dammam
Kuwait Airways launches new economy class without checked baggage.

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 2: Kuwait Airways has announced the resumption of its services to India via Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia, with flights to Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Kochi set to restart in phases beginning April 5.

Speaking to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), acting CEO Abdulwahab Al-Shatti said flights to Ahmedabad will operate once weekly on Sundays starting April 5, while services to Kochi will run twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning April 6.

Flights to Delhi will operate once a week on Tuesdays starting April 7, and Mumbai services will run weekly on Fridays beginning April 10.

Al-Shatti said the reinstated routes are part of a broader expansion through Dammam, which has recently included destinations such as London, Cairo, Istanbul, Lahore, and Amman. He noted that Kuwait Airways currently operates nine destinations via the Saudi hub, with further expansion planned to meet growing demand.

He added that the national carrier is continuing to implement operational plans “with high efficiency” to ensure smooth travel services, while preparing to accommodate increasing passenger demand amid current regional conditions.

The airline is also facilitating visa application services for residents traveling to Saudi Arabia, provided they hold confirmed Kuwait Airways bookings.

Al-Shatti emphasized that passenger and crew safety remains the airline’s top priority, and said the company is coordinating with relevant authorities inside and outside Kuwait to ensure reliable operations.

He also noted that Kuwait Airways will offer special promotions in cooperation with Al Khairan Mall, allowing passengers access to discounted shopping opportunities before departure.

Bookings can be made via the airline’s hotline 171, WhatsApp, or official sales offices.
