Now, Declare Cash Over KD 3,000 via Sahel App to Kuwait Customs

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: The General Administration of Customs has introduced a new e-service through the Sahel app, allowing travelers to electronically declare cash amounts exceeding 3,000 Kuwaiti Dinars (or its equivalent in foreign currency) when arriving or departing through Kuwait’s customs ports/airports.

Under the service, an electronic declaration notice will be generated automatically and can be verified by customs authorities at the relevant ports, streamlining the process and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

The initiative is part of Kuwait Customs’ ongoing efforts to enhance digital services and improve efficiency at entry and exit points.
