SANANDAJ, Jul 14: A missile struck a site belonging to an Iranian Kurdish opposition group east of Erbil in Iraq's Kurdistan region, according to Reuters, citing security sources.

No casualties were immediately reported following the attack, the sources said.

The identity of those responsible for the strike was not immediately known, and no group or government has claimed responsibility.

The incident comes amid heightened regional tensions. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has carried out repeated strikes against Iranian Kurdish opposition groups based in Iraq's Kurdistan region in recent months, accusing them of posing security threats.
