ABU DHABI, May 2: The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced the full resumption of normal air navigation operations across the country’s airspace, marking the end of previously imposed precautionary measures.
The authority confirmed that the decision follows a comprehensive assessment of operational and security conditions, carried out in close coordination with relevant national entities. Officials emphasized that the move reflects restored stability and readiness within the aviation sector.
Despite the return to normal operations, the GCAA stressed that continuous real-time monitoring remains in place to uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Authorities reiterated that safeguarding airspace security and ensuring smooth air traffic flow remain top priorities.
The resumption is expected to support regional and international flight schedules, reinforcing the UAE’s position as a key global aviation hub.
