KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: The Ministry of Interior carried out a large-scale security and inspection campaign on the Second Ring Road, targeting traffic violations, wanted persons, and unsafe driving behaviors, authorities announced. The campaign, conducted under the directives of Sheikh Fahd Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, involved multiple security sectors, including Traffic Patrols, Traffic Investigation Patrols, General Security Directorates, and the Human Resources and IT Sector.

Equipped with smart patrols and advanced monitoring technologies, security forces were able to identify violators, apprehend wanted individuals, and impound vehicles producing excessive noise. Violating vehicles were seized for two months in the traffic impoundment garage, with legal action taken against the owners.

The Ministry emphasized that similar intensive campaigns will continue across various governorates to enforce the law, deter violations, and ensure the safety and security of citizens and the nation.
