WASHINGTON / TEHRAN, Jun 28: No U.S. casualties or major damage to American facilities in the region have been reported following Iranian missile and drone attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait, a U.S. official told Reuters.

The official said there had been no significant impact on U.S. personnel or military installations so far, while emphasizing that the situation remains ongoing and assessments are continuing.

Iran launched the attacks amid escalating regional tensions, with U.S. forces and Gulf states remaining on heightened alert. Further details on the extent of the attacks and any damage assessments have not yet been released.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has threatened U.S. military bases across the region following American strikes on Sirik, saying the attacks would not weaken what it described as Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz.

“The blind strikes by America on Sirik will not solve the issue of our command over the Strait,” the IRGC Navy command said in a statement.

The force said Iranian strikes against what it called “violators” were intended as a warning to other vessels about “the clear route” for safe passage through the strategic waterway.

The IRGC Navy also issued a direct warning against U.S. bases in the region, saying they were “a separate matter” and adding: “They will experience hell in these days.”

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions following a series of military strikes and retaliatory actions involving Iran and the United States.
