KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: Undersecretary of Ministry of Finance Khalifa Hamada has affirmed that, “No other subsidy will be lifted soon, as the government will be holding discussions about its reforms”.
In a press statement he issued during the ninth meeting of the Treasurers of Middle East and Africa, which was organized by Ministry of Finance in Kuwait, Hamada said the government will review all prevailing measures related to distribution of financial support in order to eradicate squandering of money and ensure the support reaches those who deserve it. He indicated that the review process is currently implemented on the energy sector especially electricity, water and fuel resources.
