KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) called for the application of the replacement policy to psychological and social workers after excluding them last year due to the shortage of manpower in these fields, reports Al-Jarida daily. While the National Center for Education Development was holding a press conference recently to review the results of Kuwaiti students in the TIMES tests, sources from the educational sector told the daily that the CSC has asked the Ministry of Education to prepare the replacement lists for the above-mentioned employees for academic year 2020/ 2021.

Sources disclosed the CSC requested for termination of expatriate employees in some educational and administrative fields as they are no longer excluded from the replacement process.

Sources said the ministry has instructed its sectors to prepare lists of employees who will be terminated; including 131 psychological and educational researchers in schools, psychological and social service departments in the educational districts, and main office of the ministry.
