Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 13: During Tuesday's session of the National Assembly, Health Minister Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi addressed concerns regarding the registration process for alternative medicines, emphasizing that there were no objections to registering such medicines as long as they possessed internationally recognized certification.

Responding to inquiries about the delay in registering various medical products including medicines, herbal remedies, veterinary supplies, nutritional supplements, and medical devices, Dr. Al-Awadhi highlighted the ministry's commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of all registered medications. He assured that the delay in registration was a precautionary measure aimed at safeguarding the health of citizens and residents.

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Awadhi reiterated his stance against the introduction of any medications that could potentially pose harm to individuals.
