KUWAIT CITY, Feb 23: Kuwait Municipality has urged the public to demonstrate civilized behavior during the February 25 national celebrations, emphasizing that festivities should reflect the community’s awareness and patriotic spirit.
In a statement, the municipality stressed that expressions of joy must go hand in hand with preserving the cleanliness of public spaces, noting that littering harms the city’s appearance and poses risks to safety in streets, parks, and other public facilities. It called on everyone to cooperate in maintaining a clean and safe environment for all.
The municipality also cautioned against the use of balloons and water guns, warning that such practices may cause disorder or property damage, and urged residents to celebrate responsibly in a manner that projects a positive image of Kuwaiti society.
