KUWAIT CITY, March 26: The Ministry of Defense said conscription is proceeding according to the studied plans and that until now there have been no obstacles in the way, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting sources.The sources added, after the end of the mandatory service, the ministry will provide work for the recruits in ministries. The sources pointed out that the ministry has referred a number of what it called the ‘defaulters’ to the Interrogation Department of the Ministry of Interior.The daily added, some of the defaulters have submitted ‘disability certificates’ to justify their exemption from recruitment. However, the Defense Ministry has referred these certificates to the Public Authority for the Disabled Affairs to verify their authenticity.
