KUWAIT CITY, Dec 26: A group of Bangladeshi expatriates opposite Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in the Farwaniya area set up an illegal makeshift market. According to sources familiar with the matter, the vendors have been operating without the required permits, selling goods in an area not designated for commercial activity. Such practices violate municipal and residency regulations, which prohibit unlicensed trading in public spaces.
Despite being aware that engaging in illegal commercial activities could lead to arrest and deportation, the individuals are said to have continued operating the market. Officials have stressed that enforcement measures are carried out in accordance with the law to maintain public order, ensure safety, and protect regulated commerce. Authorities have urged all residents to comply with local laws and obtain proper approvals before engaging in any form of trade.
