KUWAIT CITY, Aug 19: The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) announced that all its services on the Sahel application and PACI website will be temporarily suspended from Wednesday, August 20, to Friday, August 22, to carry out routine maintenance and updates, according to a statement on its official social media platforms.

Meanwhile, false information has been circulating on social media claiming that exit permits will also be suspended during the same period, urging travelers to obtain their exit permits in advance.
In reality, exit permits are issued by the Public Authority of Manpower (PAM) through the Sahel app, and neither PAM nor Sahel has announced any suspension of this service between August 20 and 22. If you wish to avail yourself of a new service from PACI using the website or the Sahel app, you will receive a message stating, "Service is under maintenance, please try later."
