KUWAIT CITY, Aug 19: The Public Authority of Manpower intends to issue another decision which would change the imbalance of demographics and create an impact on the labor market.

The Public Authority of Manpower will issue a decision to prohibit granting work permits for expats who are on family visit visa, Article 22 for all (Sons, Daughter and Wife).

Those who have completed age of 18 and have completed their studies will have to leave the country except those who are pursuing their further studies.

The Manpower Authority along with the Ministry of Interior will issue a decision in the interest of modifying the existing demographics.

In past children up to the age of 21 were permitted, but now the age will be reduced to 18 yrs, where they will have to leave immediately except those who are studying outside and inside Kuwait. This rule is particularly for those who have completed 18 yrs of age and are not enrolled in any school or Colleges/Universities.
