Nine Nepalese injured in fight inside hall

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 13: Nine Nepalese sustained injuries in different parts of their bodies after engaging in a fistfight inside a ceremony hall in Fintas. Securitymen rushed to the scene after the Operations Unit at the Interior Ministry received a call from one of those who witnessed the fight. The officers pacified members of the feuding parties. All those involved in the fight have presented medical reports detailing their injuries to the concerned security unit.

Securitymen bust gang of three involved in series of robberies: Jahra securitymen arrested a gang of three — a Bedoun, a Saudi and a Kuwaiti — for their involvement in a series of robberies in camping sites, in addition to stealing buggies and robbing individuals. This came after the securitymen raided three camping sites in Abdally desert where the stolen goods were discovered including tents, televisions, Interior Ministry and police uniforms which the suspects used to rob people, two air guns, several white weapons, telephones, generators, some narcotics and alcoholic drinks. Security sources revealed the Kuwaiti suspect is wanted by law as he evaded a jail sentence of eight years and six months and fine of KD 2,500 while the Bedoun evaded a jail term of six years and fine of KD 3,000 and the Saudi had a criminal background related to stealing. Investigation is underway to determine the owners of the stolen items and whether the gang has more stolen items kept in other places.
