Private sector workers get new digital access via PAM

KUWAIT CITY, April 22: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has announced the launch of its newly developed “Sahel Manpower” platform, reports Al-Seyassah daily. This platform is designed to allow private sector workers to track all submitted applications, view employment contracts, and submit and follow up on labor complaints through a unified, integrated electronic system. In a statement, PAM explained that the platform’s services enable private sector workers, once logged in using authentication via the mobile ID app, to do the following:

* Track submitted applications and view their acceptance or rejection, including reasons for rejection
* Print a copy of the employment contract attached to their approved work permit applications.
* Submit complaints related to entitlements and transfers, and attach supporting documents.
* Access educational qualification recognition services.
* Cancel work permits for departure or transfer of residency to another sector.
* Print labor-related academic certificates.
