KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has called on all mosque employees to adhere to official working hours and to wear national dress while performing their duties. In a circular issued by the acting Undersecretary of the Ministry Sulaiman Al-Suwailem, the ministry insisted that compliance with official working hours is mandatory for all employees under its regulations, including imams, preachers, and muezzins. It highlighted that wearing the national dress, including the dishdasha and ghutra, is required for mosque employees. The ministry stressed the importance of religious officials observing official working hours and warned that anyone who violates the circular will face legal accountability.
