KUWAIT CITY, Nov 5: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, has issued Administrative Circular No. (17) of 2025, banning all forms of smoking inside wedding halls that are owned or supervised by the Ministry.
Dr. Al-Ajmi stated that the directive is in accordance with Environmental Protection Law No. 42 of 2014, as amended by Law No. 99 of 2015, and the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs Resolution No. 2 of 2015. He emphasized that the ban on smoking and the use of tobacco products in any form within these venues aims to ensure compliance with the law and prevent legal violations.
