KUWAIT CITY, Feb 5: The Civil Service Commission has released a statement today, officially setting working hours for government agencies during the holy month of Ramadan, in accordance with a new flexible working hours framework. According to the external decision No. (1) of 2024, government employees are set to work for four and a half hours daily throughout Ramadan.
The release clarifies that flexitime is to be introduced, allowing employees to commence their duties anytime between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM. This initiative is designed to cater to the specific needs of Ramadan and improve the efficiency and well-being of government workers during the holy month.
