New Oman Visa Guidelines for Indians in Kuwait Traveling to Oman

MUSCAT, Mar 4: Oman has updated visa requirements for Indian travelers. According to official guidelines, all Indian citizens must apply for an e-Visa in advance through authorized travel agents on the Royal Oman Police website.

Indian passport holders with a valid visa or residence permit from the USA, UK, Canada, Japan, or Schengen countries are eligible for a visa on arrival for up to 14 days, provided they have a return ticket, hotel booking, and health insurance.

Similarly, Indian residents of GCC countries — including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE — holding valid resident cards can also obtain a visa on arrival.

However, holders of student resident cards from GCC nations must secure a visit visa prior to traveling. All travelers are required to have a passport valid for at least six months at the time of application.
