KUWAIT CITY, Sept 29: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced that all ministries and government agencies must begin electronically inputting their job requirements into the integrated civil service systems for all positions, effective October 1. These job requirements must be categorized under the approved job titles based on classified job groups.
In its announcement, the Commission stated that it will nominate candidates registered in the system for these positions according to their relevant academic qualifications. Each entity is required to submit its job requirements into the integrated systems twice per fiscal year. This process will involve developing a comprehensive plan that takes into account graduates with qualifications specific to the entity, in accordance with the approved financial grades.
Additionally, the Commission clarified that if an entity submits requests for employment under the "contracts - hiring expertise" category to hire non-Kuwaitis, it will assess these requests based on the actual need for such hires. If there are registered Kuwaitis in the central employment system who possess the same qualifications, the Commission will prioritize their nomination.
The Civil Service Commission reiterated its commitment to appointing qualified national candidates from the waiting list in the central employment system to government agencies, ensuring alignment with their academic specializations. This initiative is part of the Commission's effort to uphold the principles of justice, equal opportunities, and fairness in public appointments across all government entities.
