KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: The people living in Jahra feel their joy of seeing the opening of a new building for the traffic department is short lived because the reality is that there are several shortcomings such as the lack of parking place for visitors who number approximately 1,000 on a daily basis and especially parking for people with special needs, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily quoting sources said the traffic department in Jahra operates from a prefabricated house since the 1980s and any hope of trouble-free better place seems to have gone with the wind. Another source who spoke to the daily, but refused to give his name, pointed out that the new building will be furnished by moving furniture from the old buildings because the funds are not enough.
