KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10: Ambassador Paramita Tripathi, India’s newly appointed envoy to Kuwait, commenced her official duties with a series of engagements underscoring India’s commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with Kuwait. On her first day, she called on H.E. Abdulmohsen Jaber Al-Zaid, Assistant Foreign Minister for Protocol Affairs, where she reiterated India’s resolve to deepen bilateral cooperation across all sectors.

Marking the start of her tenure, Ambassador Tripathi planted a neem sapling on the Embassy premises—a gesture symbolizing growth, continuity, and a renewed commitment to the long-standing India–Kuwait relationship.

She also offered floral tributes to the martyred Indian soldiers who laid down their lives in service to the nation, reflecting her respect for their sacrifice and the enduring inspiration drawn from their courage. Additionally, Ambassador Tripathi paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at the Embassy, honoring his enduring ideals of peace, compassion, and service to humanity.
