KUWAIT CITY, Nov 3: The Kuwait Winter Sports Club announced that it will hold a press conference tomorrow at 5 p.m. at its headquarters in Bayan to reveal a new group of international professional players who have been signed to join the Kuwait National Ice Hockey League for the 2025–2026 season. These new additions, drawn from some of the strongest ice hockey leagues in the world, are expected to add more excitement, strength, and competitiveness to the championship.

In league action, the Warriors claimed a crucial 8–5 victory over the Stars in the eighth round of the Kuwait National Men’s Ice Hockey League, held the day before yesterday. With the win, both teams now share the top spot in the standings with 21 points each.

The defending champions, the Warriors, put on a commanding display to avenge their only loss of the season, handed to them by the Stars in the opening round. The fierce rivalry between the two sides continues to dominate the league, while Ice Stars currently hold third place with 15 points.
