KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: Member of the Grievances and Complaints Committee and advisor to the National Human Rights Bureau Hamdan Al- Nimshan said it is not permissible to further increase fees for medical services provided to the expatriates, considering they pay for annual health insurance along with the renewal of their residency permits.

He pointed out that the increased fees are beyond the capacity of expatriates with limited income, who may have to endure illness and pain, because they cannot afford the new fees. He stressed this decision contravenes the law on human rights and it must be repealed, especially since Kuwait has been declared as the International Humanitarian Center. by Al- Seyassah / Arab Times
